It is important to understand the meaning of the statement I AM in understanding who God is and who we are. I AM is a declaration of one’s knowledge of one’s existence (the word I) and of one’s self (the word AM).

If I is the word of one’s awareness of being present (conscious existence), AM is the knowing of who one is, the self. These two words (I and AM) combined forms a statement of one’s identity I AM.

Question: When did you come into being?

God’s answer:

I always was and always will be

Meaning: I AM is also a phrase to indicate timeless presence. Nothing was until God. I use the word until because even time is a creation of God. This is why He is the beginning and the end.

Question: So, the idea that there was nothing before You is wrong. As time did not exist, there is no such thing as before and after.

Don’t you question how You just came to me - how You just are there? Do You know?

God’s answer:

I know I AM. It is a simple fact.

Question: You did not come from nothing and You did not come from anything ---this concept is simply perplexing. Do those in Heaven understand this?

God's answer:

They take it for granted.

Question: Can you make me understand this and in a way that I can clearly explain it to others because this is the age-old question here on earth?

God's answer:

My Origin? There is none.
I have no beginning and I have no end. I AM the beginning and the end.
You are limited in space and time. I AM boundless

Meaning: There is no such thing as the origin of God. We cannot completely understand this because we live in a world where everything originates from somewhere or something, within a framework of space and time. We can only comprehend this in heaven when we ourselves experience infinity and eternity both in life and in the nature of our being.
